On Friday, the House passed a bill that would give 400,000 Hawaiians their own Government and will be labeled as a “Indian tribe”(?!).
Obama and the Dems give support to the new law, however the Republicans say the new law in unconstitutional. The new law also causes questions about other native groups in the country.
Granted, the Senate has to approve it first before Obama can sign the law into place.
Well, I think that this could be a beginning to divide the land up between races. If anything, this law will cause more issues between ethnic people than give help. I fail to see how this will help and in a way, wouldn’t that be kicking a part of Hawaii out of the US?
How do you feel about this and do you think this kind of law will spread into the rest of the US?
A couple in South Korea starved their special needs baby to death back in September. However, our media is just starting to cover this.
The couple would go to an Internet cafe and play with a virtual baby for 6 to 8 hours a day. Leaving their real baby at home, and feeding her only once a day.
After they found the baby dead, they ran and hide in another town. The couple was arrested on last Wednesday.
I think the real question is if an “Internet addiction” a real or just an excuse they use? Considering the fact that baby was born early and had special needs, could of they just wanted a more “perfect” baby and thus lived their fantasy via a virtual baby?
I want to know what all of you think about this case?

Students in Jakarta are protesting Obama’s upcoming visit due to him not being a “friend” of Islam. However, they must have forgotten that he once studied and followed the Islam faith when he lived there.
It is being reported that shoes are being thrown at his photos and many protests are being planned for when he visits there on Mar 20 through 22.
Though he still is loved by many in Indonesia for the fact that he spent some of his childhood there. In fact, they have a statue of him when he was 10 years old. It is reported that he will sign it when he is there.
I feel that it should also be noted that Indonesia has the most muslims that any other country in the world.

Today’s post is about the new Catholic missal. Now granted, I just found out about this change and it will not take place until 2012, but they have been having a lot of talks about it. My main issue is this, is it following the New Rite? And will this change the Latin Mass missals?

Obama announced on the anniversy of the Soviet Union take over of Eastern Europe that he has dropped former Presidents Bush’s missile defense shield.
I am sure this makes Putin more than happy, however how does the rest of Europe feel about this? Do they feel that Obama doesn’t care about the threat of the Soviet Union making a comeback? Has Obama forgotten about last years war between Georgia(the nation, not the state for those who may have been confused) and Russia?
I know in my country of Ameirca, we find this a shocking turn and feel that he is not willing to help protect Europe. The shield was also to give warning to Iran. However now that it will not be placed, Iran and Russie might take it as a free for all.
Obama’s troublesome green czar is resigning from his office, due to his true colors being shown by conservative talk radio and tv host-Glenn Beck.
